With over 20 years of experience in optometry, Dr. Lan-Anh Nguyen brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, leadership, and a genuine passion for patient care to At First Sight Eye Care.
 

A graduate of the renowned Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Nguyen earned Honors in Clinical Excellence, recognizing her outstanding performance throughout her clinical rotations. She has since built a career spanning nearly every level of the optometric profession, beginning with years of direct patient care before advancing into leadership roles in high-volume clinical environments. She later led a team of more than 100 doctors and oversaw clinical operations across 50 locations in three states.
 

Her experience also extends beyond the exam room. Dr. Nguyen has helped develop and launch electronic health record (EHR) and point-of-sale (POS) systems for large optical retail organizations, giving her a unique perspective on how thoughtful technology and efficient clinical operations can improve the patient experience.

Throughout her career, Dr. Nguyen has remained committed to making quality eye care accessible to those who need it most. She has volunteered her skills as an optometrist to provide free eye care to underserved communities in Thailand, Mexico, and the United States.

After years of caring for patients, leading doctors, and helping shape large-scale clinical operations, Dr. Nguyen is bringing that experience back to what inspired her career in the first place: caring for people.
